Platinum Buyers' Agent Fee

As a client of Platinum, a fee will be fixed at the commencement of the service.

This fee will be calculated based on the scale of search and services required. This is discussed upfront.

There are 5 service options available:

  • Full Service - Full Search, Research, Locate and Negotiate
  • Research Service - Research only
  • Negotiation Service - Research and negotiate
  • Auction Bidding
  • Property report

As each client has a different lifestyle requirement, family requirement, timescale, expectation, budget and needs, the Buyers Agent will only be able to fix a fee once we know your requirements.

Once we have ascertained how you would like to utilise our Buyers' Agent services and how we can add value to you, we will be able to provide a quote for the Buyer Agents service taking in to account the suburb/s, the type of home and the complexity associated with the brief.

If we draw on another Buyers Agents' local knowledge, you will not be charged an additional fee. Our fee includes this.

FEES:

  •  The fee is fixed at the commencement of the contract
  • A retainer is payable upfront
  • The balance is payable at exchange (excluding property report service)

Full Service

Typical Client: Expat, Foreign investor, Busy Professional

Typical inclusions:

  • Thorough property search, including properties not advertised
  • Inspecting properties to develop a short list
  • Extensive detail on shortlisted properties
  • Ascertain market value
  • Advice on negotiation strategy
  • Arrange building/pest inspection, council inspections,
  • Liaise with conveyancing solicitor
  • Arrange property management or minor maintenance

Fee:

  • The fee, based on the scope of work required, is fixed at the commencement of the agreement.
  • A retainer is payable upfront.
  • The balance is payable at exchange of contract.

 

Research Service

Typical Client: Not so busy professional, local resident

Typical inclusions:

  • You find the property
  • We ascertain market value
  • We advise on negotiation strategy
  • We arrange building/pest inspection, council inspections,
  • We liaise with conveyancing solicitor
  • We arrange property management or minor maintenance

Negotiation Service

Typical Client: Local Australian

Typical inclusions:

  • You find the property
  • We ascertain market value
  • We advise on negotiation strategy

Auction Bidding

Typical Client: Local

Typical inclusions:

  • You find the property
  • We ascertain market value
  • We bid on your behalf 

Property report

Typical inclusions:

  • You find the property
  • We inspect the property
  • We provide a detailed report to ascertain value.
  • You negotiate
